College GameDay Is Headed to Miami at Notre Dame: The 8-0 Hurricanes' Nov. 7 Trip Just Became the Game of the Year
ESPN made it official Saturday night: College GameDay goes to South Bend on November 7, where No. 1 Miami — 8-0 after Saturday's escape at North Carolina — meets No. 5 Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Get-in tickets were already $673.

The reward for surviving Chapel Hill is the biggest stage in college football. ESPN announced on Saturday that its College GameDay pregame show is headed to South Bend for Miami vs. Notre Dame on Saturday, November 7, making the announcement as the Fighting Irish wrapped up a 35-13 win over Navy and calling the Nov. 7 meeting "one of the games of the year." Miami's part of the bargain was settled later that night: a 38-35 win at North Carolina that carried the No. 1 Hurricanes to 8-0.
The stage fits the stakes. Notre Dame stands No. 5 in the AP poll and No. 6 in the Coaches Poll, its only loss coming October 17 at BYU, and it has been circling this date since last season — Miami beat the Irish 27-24 in the 2025 season opener in South Florida, a head-to-head result that helped the Hurricanes edge Notre Dame for the final playoff position. November 7 will be GameDay's 13th visit to Notre Dame's campus and the Irish's 43rd appearance on the show; for Miami, it is the first feature role since hosting Florida on September 20, 2025.
Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. ET at Notre Dame Stadium, on NBC, with streaming on Peacock and Fubo. The market has already voted on the occasion: as of 5 p.m. Saturday, the cheapest ticket on StubHub was $673, with lower-bowl seats starting at $820 — prices for a regular-season game that read like a playoff's.
Miami's week, then, has a clear shape: recover from a three-point escape, fix the communication problems a 35-point night exposed, and go on the road to the loudest visiting assignment in the sport. A win in South Bend would put the Hurricanes at 9-0 with the conference race in their hands; the whole country will be watching the attempt.
