Miami Monday Weather: Rain, Not Showers — Code 61 Is the Third Call in Three Files, and Election Day Is Still the Wettest
The feed now reads 75.9 degrees under a mainly clear sky, but Monday's day code has firmed up to rain (61) at 45 percent, with a high of 82.1 and the week's coolest low, 70.9, behind it.

Miami's Monday has been called three different ways in three files, and the 5 a.m. reading is the firmest yet. The station's live Open-Meteo feed showed 75.9 degrees overnight, feeling like 80.3 under a mainly clear sky (code 1), but Monday's day code is now rain (code 61) — up from showers (code 81) in the 03:25 file and drizzle (code 53) in the 01:25 file — with a rain chance of 45 percent, a high of 82.1 and a low of 70.9, the coolest night of the seven-day run.
The practical difference between the labels is steadiness. A showers day rains in bursts and dries between them; a code-61 day is likelier to settle in. Either way, Monday's commute and school run carry a real chance of a wet trip, and Tuesday's voters get no relief from the pattern: Election Day holds rain showers (code 82) at 60 percent, unchanged from the overnight file and still the highest rain chance of the week, with a high of 81.1 and a low of 73.1. An umbrella at the precinct is not pessimism this year; it is the forecast.
The back half of the week dries in stages. Wednesday carries drizzle (code 53) at 53 percent with a high of 83.1, Thursday and Friday run light drizzle codes (51) at 25 and 8 percent with highs of 83.0 and a week-warmest 85.2, and the weekend settles to 80.7 on Saturday and 82.3 under Sunday overcast (code 3). Vote wet on Tuesday; dry out by Friday.
