How to Watch Heat at Lakers Tonight: 10 P.M. on WPLG, and Los Angeles Is on the Second Night of a Back-to-Back
Tip is 10 p.m. Eastern at Crypto.com Arena. Miami brings a two-game winning streak and the fresher legs; the Lakers bring Luka Doncic, who scored 45 on Sunday night.

The Miami Heat's West Coast trip opens late tonight: Miami (2-4) at the Los Angeles Lakers (5-2), tipoff 10 p.m. Eastern at Crypto.com Arena, on WPLG and Local10+ in South Florida and Spectrum SportsNet for the home market. It is the first meeting of the season between the teams, and the scheduling edge belongs to Miami — the Lakers played Sunday night, beating Toronto 131-125, while the Heat have been off since Friday's 145-125 win over Indiana.
Sunday is the reason the edge may not matter. Luka Doncic scored 45 points with 15 rebounds and 6 assists against the Raptors, and he comes into Monday averaging better than 37 points a game on the FanDuel leaders table. Miami's counter is the pairing no other team in the league can match inside: Giannis Antetokounmpo, averaging 28.2 points and 12.3 rebounds after 31 and 18 against Indiana, and Bam Adebayo, who added 27 against the Pacers in his best game of the young season. The Heat have won two straight after opening with four losses, scoring 274 points across the two wins — and allowing enough that their defensive average still sits at 121.5 points a game, the number that decides whether the rest advantage is worth anything.
The availability lines are short but real. Miami lists Tim Hardaway Jr. as questionable for personal reasons. Los Angeles, playing its second game in two nights, had not filed a fresh injury report at preview time; Adou Thiero is out for injury management and Ziaire Williams is out with a foot injury. Las Vegas makes the fresher team a small underdog anyway — Lakers by 2.5, with a total of 238.5 that expects both offenses to keep running. Miami stays on the road after this one, at the Clippers next.
