John Washington III Says a Corrupt Political System Needs to Be Exposed, With Independent Voices Pushed Out by Gatekeeping
John Washington III asked who decides which candidates get the cameras, the money, the endorsements and the publicity, and called for peaceful, constitutional change to build a government that works for the people.

John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, wrote that "this corrupt political system needs to be exposed," asking who decides who gets put in front of the cameras and who receives the money, the endorsements and the publicity.
John Washington III asked why independent voices get pushed out while their ideas get taken, arguing that gatekeepers will not stand behind independent candidates but will hand their ideas to chosen candidates instead. That is not democracy, he wrote — that is gatekeeping.
John Washington III called for change — peaceful, constitutional change — to build a new government that actually works for the people. He cited the Declaration of Independence's principle that when a government becomes destructive of the people's rights, the people can alter or abolish it, and he urged Americans to come together to build something that serves the people, not the powerful.
