The last roster moves before Sunday's kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium landed on Saturday, and the bigger news was on the visitors' side. The Miami Dolphins made their customary pair of practice squad elevations, while the New England Patriots downgraded two offensive starters to out.

For Miami (1-5), kicker Zane Gonzalez was elevated for the second consecutive week - his second elevation of the season - a given because the Dolphins carry no kicker on their 53-man roster. Edge defender Max Llewellyn was elevated for the third time, after Week 2 at San Francisco and Week 7 at the Jets, which means he is out of practice squad elevations after this week; a strong outing against New England (4-3) could put the 24-year-old Iowa product in line for a permanent promotion, Dolphins on SI reported.

New England's Saturday announcement removed wide receiver A.J. Brown and running back TreVeyon Henderson, both of whom had been listed as questionable on Friday. The Patriots signed running back Lan Larison from their practice squad to the 53-man roster and elevated wide receiver Ryan Miller - a familiar name in Miami Gardens, where Miller played four games for the Dolphins this season and owns the team's longest offensive play of 2026, a 77-yard touchdown reception from Malik Willis in Week 2.

With Brown out and Romeo Doubs and former Dolphin Mack Hollins already on injured reserve, New England's top three receivers on Sunday will be Kyle Williams, Efton Chism III and DeMario Douglas, with Corey Kiner backing up Rhamondre Stevenson at running back. Beyond quarterback Drake Maye, Stevenson and tight end Hunter Henry are the Patriots' biggest threats, the report noted. Kickoff is Sunday at 4:25 p.m. Eastern on CBS.
