Seminole Theatre's 2027 Season Goes on Sale Monday in Homestead: 12 Main Stage Productions
The downtown Homestead venue puts its 2027 Showcase Series on sale November 2 - 12 productions from January through July, from the Shanghai Acrobats to On Your Feet! and Newsies Jr. Online ordering is the Monday move; the box office's walk-up hours are Thursday to Saturday.
Monday is the first chance to lock in seats for the Seminole Theatre's 2027 season. The downtown Homestead venue has announced 12 Main Stage productions in its Showcase Series, running from January through July, with tickets and season subscriptions going on sale November 2, according to the Homestead Local Scoop, read in full by this desk this morning.
The lineup ranges widely, as a South Dade season has to: the Shanghai Acrobats and a Mersey Beatles tribute, The Marvin Gaye Experience, Rare Earth, a Disney Channel Sing-Along, On Your Feet! and Newsies Jr. are among the productions named in the announcement. Tribute acts and family dates are the ones the Scoop flagged as likely to move quickly.
The practical detail is how to buy on Monday. Online ordering is the safest Monday option, the Scoop advised, because the published box-office walk-up hours are Thursday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. Questions about subscriptions, accessibility or individual shows can go by phone to 786-650-2073.
For Homestead, the on-sale is a small piece of planning with a long payoff: a full season of nights out, at home in South Dade, decided in a few minutes on Monday morning instead of in a drive north later. Scan the full calendar before the sale opens.
