Miami Evening Weather: 81 Degrees for Halloween Night, Showers Sunday, and a Quiet Tropical Outlook
Miami heads into Halloween night at 81 degrees with Saturday's rain chance at 25 percent, before Sunday's showers (59 percent) and a wetter Monday - while the National Hurricane Center expects no tropical formation anywhere in the Atlantic for the next seven days.

Halloween night in Miami starts warm and stays mostly dry. The station's live feed read 81.1 degrees late Saturday afternoon, feeling like 85.4, on a day that topped out at 83.1 with a 25 percent precipitation chance - the same dry reading the afternoon file carried, now holding into the trick-or-treat hours, with a low of 76.2 tonight.
Sunday is the wet turn, and the feed has firmed it up since midday: rain showers (code 81) with a high of 81.8, a low of 73.5 and a 59 percent precipitation chance. Sunday is also the last day of early voting, the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show's closing day and a two-game football Sunday for the Dolphins and Inter Miami - all of it worth packing rain gear for. Monday stays wet, with a 66 percent chance and a high of 81.6, before Tuesday eases to drizzle and a 45 percent chance with a high of 83.6.
Clocks are part of tonight's weather story too: daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, so tonight runs an hour long, and Sunday's schedule - voting hours included - runs on standard time.
And in the tropics, there is nothing to watch. The National Hurricane Center in Miami, in its 2 p.m. Eastern outlook on Saturday, said tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next seven days anywhere in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea or Gulf of America, and there are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at all. The season still has a month to run - it ends November 30 - but Halloween passes with an empty basin.
