Early Voting in Miami-Dade: Two Final Days at 28 Sites Before Early Voting Ends Sunday
Miami-Dade's early voting run ends Sunday, November 1. Sites are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, any registered county voter can use any of the 28 sites, and secure drop boxes for mail ballots are open at those sites during voting hours.

Early voting in Miami-Dade County is down to its final two days. The county's 28 early voting sites are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, and again on Sunday, November 1, when the early voting period closes, according to the Miami-Dade County Office of the Supervisor of Elections. Any registered Miami-Dade voter may cast a ballot at any early voting site in the county, regardless of their assigned Election Day precinct.
In South Dade, the final weekend options include the Homestead Community Center and the Naranja Branch Library, the Homestead Local Scoop noted in its October 31 issue. Every early voting site also carries a secure drop box for completed vote-by-mail ballots during voting hours. That matters for the calendar: a mailed ballot must reach the Elections Department by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, so for a ballot still sitting on a kitchen counter this weekend, a drop box or an in-person vote is the safer late plan.
After Sunday, the rules change. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., but voters must vote at their assigned polling place - the any-site flexibility ends with early voting. The county notes that some early voting locations have been temporarily relocated, and it encourages voters to check the current site list and wait times at votemiamidade.gov before heading out. Broward County's early voting runs on the same final-weekend schedule, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sunday.
