Dolphins Rule Out Rookie Guard Kadyn Proctor Against the Patriots, With Two Cornerbacks Questionable
Miami will face New England on Sunday without starting rookie left guard Kadyn Proctor, who is out with a concussion. Cornerbacks JuJu Brents and Reese Taylor are questionable, and the Patriots' biggest question is wide receiver A.J. Brown.

The Miami Dolphins have ruled out rookie left guard Kadyn Proctor for Sunday's Week 8 home game against the New England Patriots. Proctor, who played every snap in Miami's win over the Jets, developed concussion symptoms this week and did not practice, the Palm Beach Post reported from the team's final injury report. Jarrett Kingston, who has filled in on the line this season, is next in line at the position.
Miami spent the week rebuilding its guard depth around the absence. The Dolphins signed guard Christian Haynes after he was waived by Seattle, and sixth-round rookie DJ Campbell was cut and then re-signed to the practice squad, the Post reported. Athlon Sports' Saturday roster review added that Campbell returned Friday while tackle Gottlieb Ayedze was released from the practice squad, and that CBS Sports' transaction tracker lists edge defender Jamree Kromah arriving through waivers with Robert Beal Jr. departing. In the secondary, cornerback JuJu Brents - also working through concussion protocol - practiced and is officially questionable, as is cornerback Reese Taylor with a quad injury; the Post reported that head coach Jeff Hafley expects the players who practiced in a limited capacity this week to be available.
New England has ruled nobody out, but its list carries the game's biggest name. Wide receiver A.J. Brown is questionable with ankle and knee injuries after being held out of practice late in the week, and cornerback Carlton Davis III, linebacker Christian Elliss and running back TreVeyon Henderson are also questionable, according to the Patriots' final report as published by Patriots Wire. Kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium is Sunday at 4:25 p.m. Eastern on CBS, with Miami at 1-5 off its first win and New England at 4-3.
